Personality
A person with many layers, Valkyrie is a woman whose emotions can be read as clear as day on her face, just by looking into her eyes. She is quite passionate about the entertainment arts, be it singing, dancing (or occasionally playing the violin, as she's fond of it in particular). She is well-spoken and eloquent, waxing poetic in both her thoughts and her words; Valkyrie is not a woman who shies away from compliments and kind words, especially if they are needed - but she'll never lie to anyone, not once, even though she may be easy with her words so as not to hurt them.
She cares for others more than herself in most cases, almost to a fault - she is kind and forgiving, even if it hurts her in the long run, with empathy to boot. That isn't to say she's gullible or easy to abuse; she's a smart woman, and knows when she's being played. However, she is easily hurt by others, even if she tends to quash her feelings down deeply - she'll let them stew and fester before she'll hurt anyone in the process of revealing them, especially if she thinks they won't understand, or the feeling aren't reciprocated. Tending to wear her emotions on her sleeves (or rather, in her eyes, even if her face doesn't betray what she's feeling), Valkyrie is easy to read if you know what to look for, and she's quite animated at times, with exaggerated motions that are sometimes comical. She is definitely someone who loves to have fun, and she might surprise you sometimes.
Though she is a capable fighter, Valkyrie prefers to leave the fighting to those who are better suited - the viera prefers to heal or mend physically and emotionally if given a choice, still taking an active part in a fight, but without harming others if it can be helped. Her years of work as a field medic are testament to her skill. Valkyrie prefers to use diplomacy rather than violence - though she isn't adverse to it if it is absolutely necessary, being a focused fighter with a sharp edge of any sort.
She can be reckless at times, especially concerning the well being of others, more than willing to risk her own life and limb to help those who need her - it is because of this that she is hurt often, even as adept and graceful on her feet as she is.
When it comes to romantic notions, Valkyrie is very hopelessly romantic - and unfortunately somewhat jaded, having been the subject of many a soured relationship and love lost. She's constantly dreaming of what could have been and what could be, even though realistically she worries sometimes that it will never be. However, she doesn't need flowers or gifts or anything of the sort to be impressed, preferring to focus on the individual and their personality and their merits, and the connection they make rather than what they could give her.
Appearance
Valkyrie stands as a medium-sized veena, with thick, long silken hair that cascades down over her shoulders and back in bright, snow-white locks. Her pale blue eyes are expressive and glimmer against the light, sometimes appearing more melancholy than she lets on; her eyes almost appear blind, with that same blue bleeding into her pupils, a pool of stars that catch the light as if it were their own. Her skin is pale and milky, its smoothness only interrupted by the faded lines of scars from wounds long healed. Her ears are long and snow-white, with little tufts of fur at the end of them that catch the sunlight like a halo.
She tends to lean toward anything white, blue and silver, with loose robes that don't limit her movement. She wears little jewelry, however, and when she does she is partial to iridescent feathers and crystals, with small unassuming jewelry and silver metal. Flowers especially are something she loves, and wears tiger lilies in her hair when she can.
When she wears her hair up, it's often in a messy bun (never wholly neat), or she lets her hair down freely. When at home, she loves to wear cozy sweaters and comfortable items, with emphasis on anything soft and fluffy.
She carries herself with a certain strength and grace, seeming almost fluid in her movement, light-footed and sure, but still somewhat cautious in the way she steps, nimble and swift.
Companions
At home, Valkyrie has two rats named Lyric and Riddle, both albino, and a white draught chocobo named Sonata, who she constantly talks and croons to.
Headcanons, likes & dislikes

Valkyrie is definitely one of those people who loves to curl up with a good book, a giant down comforter, and some hot cocoa while it's snowing outside, and sit in front of the fireplace.
Valkyrie is a godsdamned good healer - however, with this being said, using aether puts her in physical agony, and sometimes will cause actual damage to her body. She mitigates the damage by using unaspected crystals to 'soak' the aether that would otherwise hurt her, and with them, at most she may suffer a nosebleed and a tremendous headache. Her robes are often dusted with the powder of unaspected crystals.
She has an intense need to help people, and it's often a knee-jerk reaction for her when people are injured to help them. She'll fuss over them as if she's known them for years.
Her favourite scent is a campfire on a winter night, or the scent of crisp autumn leaves in the wind. On the opposite end of things, she hates the smell of cigarette and cigar smoke, and it makes her a little ill.
Definitely guilty of liking scented or herbal candles too much.
If food has a slimy texture, it tends to gross her out a little, but she doesn't like wasting food, so she'll power through it like a boss.
LOVES flowers, especially tiger lilies.
Highly empathetic, and picks up on things having to do with emotions very easily.
Valkyrie can play the violin like nobody's business.
Friends & Lovers
Valkyrie is willing to make friends with anybody, provided they're the type of people that would fall in well with her. Dancers, artists, those passionate about what they do and those who love to help and nurture are definitely those people she would outwardly befriend, though she can make friends with anybody, as she is compassionate, patient and empathetic, although she works well with nearly anyone who would consort with her. (She's gotten along with rough soldiers, broody types, and everyone in between in the past very well, as well. Throw 'em at me!)
As for romantic interactions, be prepared for a slow burn that grows over time, if you want to throw any of your characters at her. She is a very passionate individual, and won't shy away from careful flirting if she likes someone, though she will be very careful to mention anything in earnest unless she believes the feelings are reciprocated. She will very much tip-toe and dance around romance for the most part (at least at first), because of how she's been burned in the past.
Valkyrie is a difficult character to pinpoint when it comes to romantic interactions, as she very much writes herself; it's difficult to tell who she might fall for, but feel free to try, or shoot me a discord message to discuss!

M/ERP: I can do mature roleplay, but E-RP tends to squick me out because of obvious issues with some people being unable to separate OOC and IC. The only way you'd get anything like that is if Valkyrie and your character were in a relationship, had enough character development, and it was relevant to the scene or story (and, I trusted you as an OOC player). That being said, this only applies to the real nitty gritty - I'm comfortable doing everything beforehand; passion is no problem. Again, though, only if relevant to their story.

I try to match my partner's length, if I can. I can be long-winded sometimes, and descriptive, but I tend to match whatever I'm given unless the writing just gets away from me; Valkyrie is a character that often has longer, more descriptive posts. If the roleplay is less story driven and more of a walk-up, chances are my posts will be shorter unless I'm given something to latch onto word-wise. Give me that good stuff I can really respond to!

I generally tend to stray away from in-character combat scenarios unless planned beforehand, as those can stress me out as a player, and I'm not very good at them.
I love heavily storyline oriented roleplay. Give me that character development, because that's one of my favourite things to do! I love building relationships and just generally having fun. I'm much better with roleplay that has a base plotline, but I can do slice-of-life stuff as well - I don't stray away from heavier themes such as emotional trauma and danger, so no worries about that. (Please don't maim or heavily scar my character without first speaking to me, though - and only if it's within the storyline we're doing and relevant. Death is off the table.)
I don't mind doing in-game roleplay OR discord roleplay - either works, whatever you're more comfortable with. I do better with discord roleplay sometimes, especially with non slice-of-life roleplay.
I can run dungeons and do quests and the like, but sometimes I may not be very good at them. I'm trying! Note that I'm only up to HW content because I'm slow, lol.
